The main goal of this thesis is to study the power factor correction of industrial loads in presence of rich harmonics by using drtuned filters in factory at 6 {u036D} {u036A} October city to a void the penalty and to obtain bonus due to over correcting . This study is split into two parts the first part is the real measurements using megger PA-9 plus device to record PF the second part is simulation of a case study by ETAP software to calculate PF and (1,VTHD)
