Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Orthopedic Surgery Summary: This prospective randomized study included 40 patients with CSM divided into 2 groups ; 20 patients and ACDF using PEEK cages without antherior platting (Group 1) and 20 patients and ACCF using TMC augmented by anterior locked plate (Group 2) All patients were scored for : myelopathy using JOA score , neck pain and brachialgia using VAS preoperatively , postoperatively and followed up at 6w , 12w, 24w and at 1y both clinically and radiologically for extent of fusion
