Purpose . This study was designed to evaluate the outcome of pediatric vascular access for hemodialysis in order to optimize the access choice and prolong the access utilization span . Results : Our study included 219 procedures in 116 patients , There were 74 males and 42 females . Age ranged from 2 to 12 years with the mean age of 8.6 years . Patients ' weights ranged from 8 to 42 kg with the mean weight of 20.4kg
