In a hospital based study conducted in Kasr Alaini hospital in the period extending from February 2010 through July 2012, 150 cases of primipara patients who were expected to deliver a term singleton vaginally were monitored during the active stage of labor and partogram recording was used to evaluate progress of labor, mode of delivery was recorded
