Zohdi series and archives), multiple anatomical variations of liliequist's membrane were detected and classified into seven groups (with different subtypes in some of these groups): tough (11.7%), ill-defined (17.2%), unilayer (23.3%), double layer (45.6%), multiple transverse layers (11.1%), third vertical (2.8%) and diencephalic-mesencephalic membrane 12.2%
