Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Neurosurgery
Arachnoid cysts are benig cysts , that occur in the cerebrospinal axis in relation to the arachnoid membrane . The cysts contain clear , colorless fluid resembling normal CSF . Like other surgical techniques , the endoscopic technique requires a slow learning process during which the surgeon accumulates invaluable experience . We still find that the endoscopic management of arachnoid cysts is a safe and effective provided that each case is approached individually and studied carefully intraoperatively
