The literature on social entrepreneurship is still new and there is no consensus on the definition of the term. Being positioned as part of the entrepreneurship education social entrepreneurship is a matter of interest for academics and practitioners in the field . However few theories have developed to contribute to the social entrepreneurship literature and as a matter of fact the literature is drifted towards describing the traits and the functions of the social entrepreneur more than providing a sound theory for soial entrepreneurship behavior
