Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Electronics and Communication Summary: Attitude control is an important task for remote sensing applications . The main challenge of designing a controller for nonlinear systems is the controller parameters determination . Most of the works done in this area did not target how the controller parameters can be chosen . Other works compute them by trial and error method . This thesis proposed two novel mathematical methods for sliding mode control parameters calculation
