MINQUE estimator for the interclass correlation is derived . We apply this estimator of the interclass correlation on the data of " Egypt Demographic and Health Survey , 2000 " . The relationship btween mother's education and her children's education is studied . Relevant data from the EDHS - 2000 file was utilized to construct the different indices using SPSS
