Pediatric cancer are relatively common in Egypt contributing to about 10% of all cancer patients, and the most cancer type is acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), accounting for approximately 30% of all malignancies in children. With chemotherapy, 95% of children with ALL achieve complete remission and over 70% are long-term surivors. Unfortunately, many of the chemotherapeutic agents used in the treatment of ALL are known to be hepatotoxic
