This investigation was performed at the nursery of Horticulture Research Institute , Giza throughout two successive seasons of (2003 / 2010) and 2010 / 2011 . It intended to overcome the slow and low germination percentage of seeds of two important economic tress species Artocarpus heterphyllus Lam. (Jack fruit) and Acacia saligna (Labill) Hl.Wendl with improving the vegetalive growth of seedings in order to produce well grown commercial size transplants
