The aim of the present study was to investigate the therapeutic effect of L-carnitine on lipid profile in rats with hypertcholesterolemia or hypertriglyceridemia and the benefit of its addition to fluvastatin and fenofibrate on the lipid profile, also the muscular dysfunction caused by either fluvastatin or fenofibrate and the efficiency of addition of L-carnitine treatment with either of them Pharmacologically, biochemically and histopathologically
