Topical gels were prepared using 5 cellulose derivatives each in 3 concentrations and they were loaded with tenoxicam. Physical characterization tests were performed. In vitro drug permeation experiments through synthetic membrane and natural skin in a release medium of phosphate bu er, pH 7.4 were performed
