Citrarte-nitrate autocombustion was used for preparation of Cu₁-xCdxFe₂O₄ (0 {u2264} x {u2264}0.6) series and La₀.₆₇Sr₀.₃₃Mn₀.₉₈Co₀.₀₂O₃ nanocrystalline powders. XRD and HRTEM were employed for their characterization. Magnetic, dielectric, and thermoelectric properties have been studied. Hence, CU₀.₇Cd₀.₃Fe₂O₄ was chosen to be the ferrite phase for nanocomposite preparation in light of its superior physical properties
