In addition, watermelon contains concentrated sources of fermentable sugars which can be used to produce bioethanol. Watermelon infection with watermelon mosaic virus-2 (WMV-2) causes economic damage reflected mostly as reduction in plant growth, yield losses of more than 38% and so the present study was carried out in two parts
