Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Mechanical Design and Production Summary: The main objective of this thesis is to study the effect of current intensity (40,50,60 and 70 ampere) anode / cathode geometry combinations with different diameters (4,6,10 and 12 mm) and discharging medium on the yield and quality of Multiwalled Carbon Nanoutubes(MWCNTs) A novel approach of metal matrix nanocomposite processing is introduced in which the multiwalled carbon nanoutubes are pre dispersed and compacted to form small billets to be added into the melt by mechanical stirring in semi solid state
