The occurrence of Salmonella in (1770) poultry was assessed from July 2010 through July 2011. The samples included the paper-lined boxes of imported day-old broiler chicks (n=900), breeder chicks (n=300), grandparent chicks (n=330), ducklings (n=150), and turkey poults (n=90). Imported ducklings, and turkey poults were mostly Salmonlla free
