Background and objective: Patients with sickle cell anemia (SCA) are at increased risk of serious morbidity and mortality . Recurrent infections and renal abnomalities are well known complication in SCA patients . Asymptomatic bacteriuria (ASB) is a common complication in SCA patients . However the prevalence of (ASB) in the pediatric age group is not known despite its high prevalence in adult patients
