Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Agriculture - Department of Economic Entomology and Pesticides Summary: Positive relationships were found between increasing mortality percentages and increasing concentrations of Dipel 2X and negative relationships between LT₅₀ and increasing of concentrations. 3{u036C} {u036C}{u0369}{u036C}{u036C}{u0369} instar larvae of Earias insulana (Boisd.) treated with the concentration 10.24 x 10⁶ IU/ml. showed elongation of epithelial cells, high increase for secretion of the peritrophic membrane, separation of epithelial cells from each other, distortion of the peritrophic membrane and the apical parts of the elongated epithelial cells fell in the lumen
