Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - National Institute of Laser Enhanced Sciences - Department of Laser Application in Medical and Biological Summary: The aim of this study was to determine the efficacy of laser irradiation in the treatment of chronic sinusitis. Sixty patients with chronic sinusitis their ages ranged from 18 to 55 yrs old participated in this study . They were divided into control and study groups received the same medical treatment . The study gruop received true laser irradiation by diode laser with dose of 9 J/cm² for 12 sessions while the control group received sham laser the duration of treatment was one month for both groups
