Objective : To establish normative speech ABR parameters the latency and amplitude of the onset ABR waves to speech stimuli in normal population across different age groups and to compare it with click - ABR to explore their underlying relionships . Results The main components of speech - ABR were clearly identified and were categorized according to onset response it was found that females having significantly faster and larger magnitude responses to the transient aspects of the stimulus compared to males
