The present study aimed to assess and evaluate the nutrional status of elderly lived in public and private geriatric homes as well as preparing and evaluating some accepted salt and sweet biscuits that could be used to compensate some nutrient deficient of them the study included 150 elderly people (100 women and 50 men) aging between 60y and above 75 years old and they randomly chosen from public and private home (each two) in Giza and Cairo governorates
