The aim of the present study was to find the effect of type 2 diabetes on the anti - inflammatory effect of diclofenac sodium in adult male Sprague Dawley rats . The anti - inflammatory activity was evaluated using acute inflammatory model (carrageenan induced paw edema) and chronic models (cotton-pellet induced granuloma and carrageenan induced air-pouch model) in normal and diabetic rate
