Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - National Cancer Institute - Department of Cancer Biology Summary: Retrospectively evaluate epidemiologic and clinico-pathologic characteristics and disease free survival in breast cancer patients and relate them to age at diagnosis. This is a retrospective cohort study involving 1128 female breast cancer patients diagnosed and treated at NCI, Cairo in 2003. Mean age at diagnosis was 49.4±11.5 years. Patients younger than 40 years represented 18.4%, 40-{u227A}65 years 70.3% and those {u2265}65 years 11.3%
