It include thymic epithelial tumors and uncommon thymic tumors . Thymic epithelial tumors include thymic carcinoma, which exhibit aggressive behavior and thymomas, which manifest a thymoma . Complete resection is the mainstay of treatment and there appears to be little benefit to partial resection
