Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine - Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Summary: Aim of study : The current study aims to evaluate a buccal plate augmentation in alveolar ridge preservation as a strategy for management of single tooth extraction sites in aesthetic implant therapy . Results and conclusion : Results showed a statistically significant difference with P< 0.05 when comparing both groups . Buccal plate augmentation after extraction proved to be an efficient technique to preserve alveolar bone for future implant placement
