Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Agriculture - Department of Vegetable Summary: Tow experiments were conducted during the late summer seasons of 2010 and 2011 in Bilbase- Sharkia Governorate- Egypt. Tomatoes are cultivated through the whole year, but its productivity in the late summer season is limited because of unfavorable high temperature prevailing during flowering stage and fruit set. This study aimed to improve fruit set and plant perfomance to increase tomato productivity under high temperature during the late summer season
