Lysosme associated protein transmembrane 4 beta (LAPIM4B) is a cancer associated gene that is mapped to chromosome 8q22 with seven exons and six introns. It has 2 alleles named LAPIM4B*1 and LAPIM4B*2. LAPIM4B gene polymorphism has been reported to be significantly associated with susceptibility of several solid tumors. Our study aimed to investigate the association between LAPIM4B gene polymorphism and the risk of breast cancer among Egyptian female patients
