Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Chemical Engineering Summary: The objective of this thesis is to study the sintering characteristics of fine WC powder doped with 10% cobalt on the temperature range 1100 - 1300{u00B0} C in inert atmosphere. WC- 10% Co tablets were prepared by using uniaxial dry pressing at different pressure (510 MPa, 765 MPa) the holding time used for firing tablets was raised to reach 3 hours . Densification parameters were determined at all sintering condation
