Ifosfamide (IFO), a nitrogen mustard alkylating agent, is used frequently in management of a wide spectrum of cancers but has reported to cause certain side effects such as hepatotoxicity. In this study we aimed to investigate the possible hepatoprotective effect of omega-3 FAs as a pretreatment and a combined treatment on IFO induced liver injury using light microscopy and immunohistochemical technique
