This work is an attempt to compensate for the current lack of research in the field of child computer interaction and games - based learning in the Arab world and address the growing need for authentic and high - quality products targeting our young children of today's digital generation. By conbining successful world - wide strategies of child - centered design of edutainment and serious games with our own local evaluation and ethnographic studies exploring state - of - the art and target users needs, we pave the way for future advances in this field
