One of the high level objectives in cellular systems for next generation mobile communication is obtaining high capacity accompanied by interference suppression. Long term evolution advanced (LTE - A) has been suggested by the third generation partnership project (3GPP) to meet these objectives. LTE - A improves the spectral efficiency in the uplink and downlink, especially for users at the cell edge which suffer from strong inter - cell interference
