Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine - Department of Endodontics Summary: To evaluate the effect of using different application times of EDTA (5 and 15 minutes) and obturation by two sealers; silicon-based sealer (GuttaFlow) and Zinc Oxide eugenol - based sealer (EndoFill) on the resistance to vertical root fracture. Sixty extracted human single rooted teeth with single root canals were used in this study. The teeth were decoranated, after ensuring standardized length and standardized dimensions of bucco - lingual (BL) and mesio-distal (MD) at the flattened coronal surface. The specimens were randomly divided into 3 groups n = 20
