Subject(s): Online resources: Available additional physical forms:
  • Issued also as CD
Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Radio-diagnosis Summary: The dynamic MRI is based on the principle that it studies the vascularity of the tumor and hence it indicates about the viability of the tumor. Aim of this study is to evaluate the use of DCE-MRI in estimating residual viable tumor present in osteosarcomas treated with induction chemotherapy preoperatively as well as correlation of the dynamic curves patterns with the histopathological results. A prospective study done on fifty patients with proved osteosarcoma after completion of preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy were subjected to conventional MRI and DCMI before surgery
