The results of this study revealed that both types spinal flexion and extension exercises were significantly effective for reduction of low back and leg pain severity as well as decreasing H - reflex latency and increasing amplitude in patients with unilateral lumbosacral radiculopathy as a result of disc herniation at the level of L5 - S1
