Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Physical Therapy - Department of Physical Therapy for Cardiopulmonary and Geriatrics Disorders Summary: The aim of this study was to assess the blood glucose response to aerobic exercise when combined with the water extract of the dried green tea leaves as a natural extract. Forty five patients of both sexes with type 2 diabetes 30 women and 15 men from Sheben Elkom teaching hospital participated in this study, their ages ranged between 50 to 60 years. They were assigned into three equal groups 15 patients 10 women and 5 Men for each group. Group (A) who participated in a program of aerobic exercise in the form of treadmill 4 sessions /week and administered 5 cups of the water extract of the green tea leaves (about 150 ml) daily for 8 weeks
