RSA cryptography is the most used method of encryption in data communicationsIts popularity made it the standard method for data protection in the internet protocolBecause of the RSA popularity , many attacks aimed at breaking this code have been devisedExamples include brute force attack , mathematical attack and timing attackBoneh et al purposed another attack namely the partial key exposure attack where some of the code key bits can be guessed correctly and then help breaking the codeEverstine then calculated the attack algorithm running time and found out that time is linearly proportional to e , and that it is O (en4) where ethe encryption key and nis the number of bits of NThat finding makes partial key exposure attack very appealing from code breaking complexity point of view
