Transoral robotic surgery (TORS) is perhaps the most effective minimally invasive surgical treatment for diseases of the head and neck available today. The gold standard from this essay study is to illustrate the role of transoral robotic surgery in the head and neck cancer and also to determine its advantages, disadvantages indications, contraindications and also to determine the incidence of recurrence in comparison with classic open surgery
