It was first described by kessler and wolloch in 1972. It is often misdiagnosed and mistreated. It presents as inflammatory lesion of uncertain etiology and pathogenesis thus resulting in both bad cosmetic outcome and poor cure rates. Many treatment approaches were described including surgery, anti - inflammatory medications, repeated ultrasound guided drainage and corticosteroids
