Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Astronomy and Meteorology
Relative cluster membership probabilities have been determined for 2711 stars in a region containing the open cluster NGC 3680 and 1431 stars in the region containing the open cluster IC 348. A Pruning procedure has been carried out to identify the cluster members and the field members, three filtration steps have been processed to determine the member stars and eliminate the field stars, and revealed that 585 stars around the center (11h 25m 34s.67 - 43{u00B0} 13' 37".56) and 464 stars around the center (3h 44m 22s.92 - 32{u00B0} 21' 54".35) are cluster members in NGC 3680 and IC 348 respectively
