The systemic acquired resistance (SAR) in strawberry (Fragaria ananassa L.) was investigated using two local cultivars in Egypt which are Camarosa and Sweet Charlie. Mycofloral screening of phylloplane, stemplane, rhizoplane and rhizospheric fungal species were done. Macrophomina phaseolina and Rhizoctonia solani were selected among 325 fungal isolated from strawberry plant parts for the biotic elicitation of strawberry calli and cell suspension cultures to induce the SAR. Tissue culture technique experiments was done in for stages to produce strawberry calli, cell suspension cultures, somatic embryogenesis, shooted embryos and rooted shoots to reach the regenerated strawberry plantlets for cultivars Camarosa and Sweet Charlie
