Grape (Vitis vinifera L.) is one of the remunerative fruit crops which is wildly cultivated all over the world. This study aimed to survey inscet pests infesting grapevine trees as well as to assess population dynamics and the effect of some weather factors on the activity of bemisia tabaci (Genn.) and empoasca lybica (de Berg) on thompson, roumy ahmer, flame and superior varieties in some vineyards at Minia, Menoufia and Giza Governorates. In addition, histological structure and chemical analyses of leaves were studied. Survey studies revealed thirty-eight insects belonging to twenty families from seven orders have been recorded as pests on grapevine trees at Minia, Menoufia and Giza governorates
