Fate of CSF leak following conservative management was studied. Conservative management and surgical management were compared in 20 patients. Twenty - five percent of patients undergoing conservative management eventually needed surgery, whereas 8.3% of those undergoing surgical management needed further intervention. Conservative management was found to be suitable for minimally - displaced posterior wall fractures
