Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Agriculture - Department of Animal Production Summary: Studies were conducted to investigate the effect of partially substituting yellow corn with dried sugar beet pulp (SBP) at substitution levels of 50 and 75 %, with, and without, added fibrolytic enzymes (Hydroenzime), on nutrient digestibility, rumen liquor parameters, selected blood parameters, and overall performance of growing Barki lambs. In addition, the economic benefit of using SBP as novel feed ingredient was estimated. Twenty five Barki lambs with an average body weight of 26 ±0.5Kg, at 8-months of age, were divided into 5-groups of 5-animals each, according to their live body weight. The growth trial lasted for 90 days
