Each experiment was subdivided into seven groups. With recording of the clinical signs, body weight, gross lesions, clinical biochemistry findings, histopathological findings and also immunohistochemistry staining of Ü - SMA protein. MSCs were isolated from the bone marrow of twenty five male SD rats (4 - 5 weeks old) and labeled with PKH26 dye to evaluate the homing of MSCs in the liver tissue. The liver tissue and liver function enzymes of rats which were treated and protected with MSCs showed improvement when compared with control positive group
