Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Andrology and S.T.Ds Summary: The objective of this work is to investigate the effect of different thawing temperatures on the motility recovery after cryopreservation of the human sperms. The technical aspects of sperm cryopreservation have significantly improved over the last few decades. However, a standard protocol designed to optimize sperm motility recovery after thawing has not yet been established. Fifty semen samples of males complaining of primary infertility for more than one year were selected among those attending a private ART center seeking for ICSI on account of severe oligoasthenoteratozoospermia. Semen samples were thawed at three thawing temperatures: 25 {u02DA}C, 37 {u02DA}C and 40 {u02DA}C
