Postmenopausal syndrome, is a natural event that normally occurs in women age (45 {u2013} 55), it begins at the time of the last menstrual period, although not recognized until after 12 months of amenorrhea. The present study aimed to investigate effects of curcumin, alcoholic fenugreek extract and their combination as new phytoestrogen that might be a potential safe alternative strategy in comparison with 17 -Ý estradiol to overcome some symptoms and biochemical alterations associated with postmenopausal syndrome induced ovariectomized rats. Sixty female Wistar rats weighing 130-150 gm were randomly divided into 6 groups. Group1: Sham - operated rats, received 1% DMSO 1ml / 250g; P.O. - ve control
