To assess the effect of vancomycin on hearing of newborns admitted to NICU. This case control study included 100 neonate (50 received vancomycin) and ( 50 didn{u2019}t receive vancomycin). History, investigations done during admission and OAE tests were done. OAE tests were normal in both groups indicating vancomycin not ototoxic. Using vancomycin is not ototoxic to neaonates when used in standard dose and duration
