Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine - Department of Operative Dentistry Summary: A total of 60 freshly extracted human maxillary premolars were used in this study to evaluate the influence of bulk versus incremental application technique of contemporary resin composite on the interfacial adaptation and fracture resistance of MOD cavities. The teeth were divided into two main groups (30 teeth each) according to the application technique that was used, with the same contemporary resin campsite. The teeth were prepared in MOD cavities, with standardization concept by caliber had been used. The fracture load values of all test groups were measured an Instron testing machine with tapered metal rod round tip, to apply a compressive the rounded tip was contacting only the occlusal inclined plans of both buccal and lingual cusps
