The study included 30 patients with antiphospholipid syndrome. To study the relation between pregnancy outcome (maternal and fetal) in patient with antiphospholipid syndrome (primary or secondary) and the positivity of anticardiolipin (ACL) antibodies and anti beta 2 glycoprotein (aß2GPI) antibodies. Single serum sample is taken from 30 pregnant women with antiphospholipid syndrome (primary or secondary) in the high risk pregnancy unit for detection of antibeta 2 glycoprotein antibodies and anticardiolipin anti body. All patients receive prophylactic treatment for antiphospholipid syndrome. Then Maternal outcome is assessed as development of preeclampsia, eclampsia, vascular events either arterial or venous thrombosis. Fetal outcome is assessed as abortion, prematurity, apgar score on delivery, development of IUGR, low birth weight, or neonatal ICU admissions
